Radio 1's target audience

Mia Aids-ziv is a 21 year old female who lives in central london amongst all the British pop culture.
She loves to keep up with all the cool trends, fashion and music. Whilst getting ready for her day she enjoys to listen to BBC 1's radio, especially the live lounge. She enjoys going to concerts and clubbing.
Kayleigh a 25-year-old female who
lives in the mainstream of British popular culture, loves eating, drinking and
holidays aboard. She is permanently based in the local area, and enjoys what
her town has to offer in terms of socialising. She doesn’t like to discuss
politics or serious issues with her friends and family, she’s more interested
in pop culture and celebrities.
She loves to spend money – mainly on
clothes, music, magazines, DVDs and other products she’s seen advertised.
Kayleigh is a family driven individual, maybe with young children. She has a
passion for TV.
It is important that Heart FM is not
a female brand. Nothing should alienate male audiences.

Again, remember that the target audience will be interested in new, upcoming artists as Radio One tend to promote new talent.
